This interactive zoom event is to educate rehab professionals and business
owners about why it’s so important to know your cost per visit. Clinics around
the country arbitrarily sign insurance contracts and they may be losing money on
every patient that comes in if their cost per visit is higher than what they are
being paid per visit. Three rehab/small business owners have agreed to sit down
and discuss how knowing their cost per visit has helped them be very successful
in their practices.
Agenda for Presentation

James received his undergraduate degrees at the University of Colorado in Kinesiology
and Psychology. After receiving his master’s degree in physical therapy at Nova
Southeastern University, he began practicing in Boston. Since receiving his degree,

runners, and cyclists from around the world, two women’s professional football teams,
and high school and college athletes participating in a wide variety of sports. James
has pride in his business maintaining a one-on-one treatment model while growing from
one location to six locations over a 20-year period.

reimbursement per visit (both overall and by insurance company) has been the most
consistently useful information for me over the years. This information has reliably
guided me through staffing decisions and decisions around being in or out of network
with insurance companies. Knowing these numbers provides a framework for
understanding the many factors that have an impact on our bottom line.”
